MLA Citation Style

MLA Style was developed by the Modern Language Association. It is the most common style format used in undergraduate education, but is used frequently for scholarly writing outside the classroom as well.

Purdue's Online Writing Lab (OWL) is also an excellent source for information on how to use MLA style, including how to format papers, create a bibliography, cite in text, and more.
