If you are not on campus, NDNU students, faculty, and staff can access resources by logging in using your campus authentication - same username/password to access NDNU email. If you experience remote access login issues, please email OIT Help Desk at helpdesk@ndnu.edu.

Interlibrary Loans

If a desired resource is not available as a full-text version online, students, faculty, and staff can place a request through Interlibrary Loan. Search for resources using the Library Discovery Search and select the "Request through Interlibrary Loan" button to submit your request. Please note: due to the COVID-19 health pandemic, Gellert Library can only process article and book chapter requests through ILL until further notice. Send questions about resources and Interlibrary Loan requests to library@ndnu.edu.

Librarian Consultations

Librarians are available by phone, email, or one-on-one online consultations. Schedule a consultation with a librarian by emailing library@ndnu.edu. Instructors can also arrange for a librarian to provide remote instruction for their courses using the online instruction request form.

Renewing Materials

Long term loaned material shelved in our Stacks and Education Collection can be renewed one time via your online library account: http://ndnu.on.worldcat.org/myaccount

 

If you are accessing your online library account for the first time, you will need to click the “set/reset password” button to create a unique password. Please note that your library account is a separate login than your NDNU email, Portal, or Moodle accounts. 

 

Material can be renewed by email - please contact the library circulation desk for help at library@ndnu.edu.

Returning Materials

Library material may be returned to the book return bin located outside the library entrance. If you cannot return to campus, ship books by mail in a padded envelope or box to:

If you are unsure what library material you have checked out, log into your account online. Email library@ndnu.edu with any questions or concerns.

Material returned to the outside library book return drop box will be backdated once library staff can retrieve the returns. All replacement bills will be waived for returned overdue items.
